Kevin Joyce (politician)
Kevin Carey Joyce is a former Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 35th District from 2003 until 2010.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Joyce went to John Carroll University.〔'Illinois Blue Book 2005-2006, Biographical Sketch of Kevin Joyce, pg. 84〕 His father, Jeremiah E. Joyce, also served in the Illinois General Assembly.〔'Joyce announces decision to retire as representative,' The Beverly Review (Illinois), Patrick Thomas, June 16, 2010〕 And accept a position with Ave Maria University a private Roman Catholic near Naples, Florida. As of 2014 Joyce serves is Vice President of Development at the university.
